1997 Dodge Ram Sport By Brendan McCarth

My truck is a Ram 1500 2WD with a 318ci engine and auto box. I have owned it for almost 6 years. It started out as a "sport" model, but got optioned up somewhere along the line.

It features a full tan leather interior, electric seats, air.con, cruise control, auto dimming mirror, Cd player, reverse radar doo hickey.

Name , its probably in there....

Since purchasing the Ram, I have fitted 20" wheels, an AEM Brute Force air induction kit, an Edelbrock twin catback exhaust, a Borgeson steering linkage and the engine has been modified using a Hypertech programmer. The interior has a light system set up so that a neon blue Ram's head appears in the back window when its dark. Looks kinda weird, like a ghost floating there.

The main changes have been to the pick up bed area. It is panelled in tan leather and has cut outs at each side with tribal flame steel masks over these. At the cab end, there is a 3D sculpted Rams head which sits in a cabinet cut out to resemble the shield on the grille of the truck.

The floor is a mirror, all of it. All this lights up neon blue at night and there is a smoke machine in there that pushes fog out thru the side cutouts and around the flames. Quite a spectacle.
