Dodge today announced pricing for the new 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 – the most powerful light duty pickup truck on the market – which boasts an all-new frame and suspension, an all-new interior, and a bold new Dodge Ram exterior.

The U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the new 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 is $21,700, which includes $900 destination. The MSRP for the new 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8, featuring Chrysler Group’s Multi-displacement System (MDS) is $24,650, which also includes $900 for destination.

“At $21,700, the new 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 features an all-new frame and suspension for improved ride and handling, an all-new interior, and a bold, new exterior design,” said Darryl Jackson, Vice President – Dodge Marketing, Chrysler Group. “And for less than $25,000, customers can get the first pickup truck to offer fuel-saving MDS technology. MDS is standard with the HEMI V-8 engine and provides up to 20 percent fuel economy improvement.”
